I visited the north shore location and was very impresses. Facility was very clean and I observed specifically. The receptionist, nurse and dr was extremely friendly. Very quick service, but I was only one in there at the time. The male doctor was insanely nice and very very easy to talk to and feel comfortable talking to. He gave me better information and help than my usual dr I see. I could not have felt any more comfortable there while dealing with my UTI issues. Recently I had to have a few stitches from a fight with a box cutter... I came to Physicians Care on Market St, North Shore, Chattanooga, TN. I received the very best care, and the nurse and doctor were so friendly and actually made my visit pleasant. When I returned to have stitches removed, Scott, the nurse, remembered my name! I definitely recommend PC -North Shore!

It's kind of hit or miss depending on which doctor you see. Usually the nurses are friendly. We've had a female doctor there a couple of times who was dismissive and seemed bored by having to be there.

I had a negative Covid test, so the doctor sent another one to the lab. The nurse told me explicitly, I'd get a call Saturday with the results. No call. No call Sunday. So I called Sunday evening and that's when I was told by another nurse that they don't make those phone calls on the weekends and they wouldn't be able to tell me until Monday at 1 PM. I went to this location with a seriously bad nosebleed situation. I'm sitting there with cotton balls up my nostrils and the covid mask on mouth breathing for nearly 2 hours waiting to be seen, despite the fact that there were only three other people in the waiting area. Finally see this young doc on call who proceeds to give me a little speech on nosebleeds, what causes them how to stop them.. like he's talkng to an eight year never offered to look me over or anything close to that. Most incompetent staff i've ever spoken to. Won't release my medical records to me via email and told me i'd have to come pick them up myself, after the receptionist snapped at me and was beyond unprofessional. As a patient I have a right to my medical records so just know if you go here you're not getting them! The first receptionist I spoke to I was kind to and she told me she'd mailed me my records and I didn't receive them. I had to get a Covid 19 test before going out of town. This place requires a $50 "test fee"..:REGARDLESS of whether your insurance covers it or not! So basically, they are DOUBLE-BILLING. I'm guessing they do this "because well, they know they can", since the circumstances under which someone is getting a Covid test are often of an urgent nature and with the recent Covid resurgence, most places that do Covid testing have a 2-3 day wait list.
