My old tail quit wiggling... These tails get stiff over time and like everything else on a Polaris, will need to be replaced. I have this new one stretching out in the sun for the past two weeks attempting to get the curl out of it before I attempt to install it. Which reminds me... I need to go check and see how that's doing. Without ever wanting to, i've become an ace Polaris repairman. It will happen to you too! :)

Perfect replacement This is an OEM product for the Polaris 280 pool sweep. It was easy to install and fit perfectly. It had the foam tail scrubber included which usually is a separate buy item. Five stars.

The tail sweep replacement was the fix. The B5 tail sweep replacement by Polaris was the perfect replacement for my ailing lack of tail sweeping. My tail sweep on my Kreepy Krauly was not sweeping at all. I noticed that the wear rings were badly worn and the material used in the sweep had gotten stiff.
