Cleans great, easy to use and very easy to clean after use. I couldn't be happier with this vac.
We just put in the pool last year and only had use of it for about 3 weeks before we had to close. The cleaner does not a bad job, but it continually gets stuck on the first step and cannot free itself. If we are not watching it, it could be stuck for a large portion of the cleaning time. We have to push it off the step manually to get it going again. For the price, a little disappointed that this is happening.
i just bought the cleaner. seems to do a nice job with the debris but does take longer the 2.5 hours. during the first afternoon it was running it flipped twice. i had to turn it back over both time
I just recently purchased this pool cleaner and Love it. It has so many awesome features and cleans the pool fantastic. The various modes are great depending on the cleaning level the pool requires. Also the LIFT feature is great for taking the cleaner out of the pool. It comes with the caddy which is also great. I would recommend this cleaner.
I have had a dolphin in the past and purchased this one as my dolphin broke down when I was leaving out of town. It had the features I was looking for in a robotic pool cleaner. The features are great but it does not cover the entire pool in its 2.5 hour cycle. The basket is not fine enough to pick up the dirt. As a result I’m constantly sweeping the pool once a day and twice a day on weekends. The first season is over for our new Polaris - or as my granddaughter named it, the polliwog. We previously had a Dolphin, circa 2011. The Polaris is much, much easier to clean, but I don't feel it does as good a job covering the entire bottom - requiring multiple cycles. Had heck of a time setting it up on wifi; issue turned out to be with carrier-provided equipment, and it works now. I give it 4 of 5, partly because of the price.
The cleaner does a really great job. Sometimes it misses a spot here or there, but with the phone app and remote control, it is easy to steer it to get those spots. Mostly it covers the whole pool fairly well. We have a lot of dust in our area so I always prep by brushing down the sides and steps before starting the cleaner cycle. We have a fiberglass pool and there are a lot of ridges and odd angled steps and I don't expect it to be able to cover all those areas.
