Dear Poolwerx team, Before Christmas I dropped of my faulty Dolphin X40 pool cleaner to the Dalkeith store, WA. I was given an invoice for its repair and I advised the work to proceed immediately. In the meantime my pool was getting quite dirty, so I asked to have a service done. It took 3 attempts to get the pool cleaned, and in fact the first attempt caused further problems to my chlorinater cell. Poolwerx Mackay could not be less helpful, we had trusted them to look after our rental properties pool and service and check the chlorinator. We found out from the tenants that they have never cleaned the cell and it now is damaged and not covered by warranty. The franchisee is evasive and in my opinion untrustworthy. I will never use Poolwerx again and would not recommend them to anyone else.
I've generally had good experiences with the brand in general however we rung up our local store Forest Lake whom are awesome and they organised a service guy to come out to assist us in getting our Kreepy Krauly RX Rank working. When he arrived we advised him that we are clueless with pools and we've just bought this house so we don't really understand any of it. I know this is a franchise so obviously things will be different at different stores.. I spoke to the store that maintain our pool and we were not happy with the service. We asked that they not bill us until we were satisfied but they had our credit card details and said they would charge us anyway. I asked to speak to someone who deals with accounts and they said to email. I asked for a phone number and they gave me the mobile number of the ‘owner’. Dear Sirs I feel it is important that I air my extreme disappointment with Poolworx. I had bad service from a branch/franchise earlier this year and vowed not to go back, however I saw a sign outside the shop erect and, against my better judgement decided to let bygones be bygones and went in for help. Am still waiting for my money back as Poolwerx did not compete the job that we paid over $700 for. They ignore my emails or say they’ll be in touch but never are. I want my money back. tell you a price and then charge more than they said. I made the mistake of giving them my bank card number. they took it it out of my account and the job was not finished. I still have dirt on the bottom of my pool and walls and the walls. the man that came to service the pool put on his report that he had vacumed.
BEWARE create further problems, flood houses, lack pool knowledge, lack empathy, do not back up promises. Head office/marketing say want to resolve issues and to contact them. so you contact them and they say will get back to you but never do. Please AVOID AVOID AVOID unless you want further problems, throw $$ away and lots of stress and anguish!!
Anthony, owner of poolwerx in Maricopa Arizona took the homeowners $7,000 and then told us the contractor who remodeled the pool that he was closing the store and is going bankrupt. watch out for this company, these stores do not have contractors licenses and what he did was illegal in the state of Arizona
