I can not say enough good things about this place. From the front desk staff, to the technicians, the doctors and even all those behind the scenes I didn't see you all are wonderful! I called with an emergency situation and they made time for me right away and even had my dog in surgery within two days of her injury. They have all been genuinely kind and you can tell they care about each of their patients and their families. They even called today the day after the surgery to check on my dog. Poquoson vet has been seeing my birds for about 4 years I have an African grey and Quaker as well as a eclectus Doctor eddy and Williams are very knowledge when it comes too parrots as well as having a very good bedside manner and are gentle with my parrots and talk with me and let me know what they are going too do . They saved my Quaker parrot when she was egg bound and where very compassionate and kind too me as I was very upset . they always have coffee drinks and snacks which is very nice and the techs and receptionists... read more
Home from taking the babies to their yearly exam with my lovely Dr. Rosalie Gibson Holcomb (whom i used to work with and know her integrity) at Poquoson Veterinary Hospital. The girls are always super relaxed afterwards and never traumatized. It's a welcomed difference. Here's to change! :)
Super nice staff! They see small animals ( guinea pigs in my case) and are very gentle with them.
Dr. Eddy took care of my very best feathered friend for all of her 14 years. Dr. Eddy and Dr. Williams provided gentle hospice care for my friend in her final months with cancer. It was as if my bird was their very own. I couldn't have asked for better. I would never trust any other veterinary hospital with my birds.
