The service was excellent! Loved the homemade bread & cocktail shrimp were great! I did not however like the calamari, the breading was off and it tasted chewy. The dinner however was great!

Service was great. Food was excellent. Our table had the beef tartar,calamari for apps. Salmon special, Hangar steak and lemon fettuccine with scallops. It was all delicious

We have eaten several times here but this last dinner was disappointing. We both ordered filet mignon and though it was cooked properly it tasted like salt for both of our meals.

We have experienced this on previous dinner reservations at this restaurant - the service is very slow even to get our glass of wine we waited 15-20 minutes which is unacceptable. The food is very good, pricey and service to get the dinner was VERY slow. Allowed plenty of time for dinner before a show but it still wasn't enough to enjoy the dinner before rushing over to the concert.

The one thing that we consistently encounter at Portico is the oft rude reception when we arrive for our reservation. No warm welcome or Hello. We feel as though we are an imposition. Otherwise, the food and bar service is wonderful. If it weren't we would never go back due to the reception desk personnel.
