This has been the worst services I've ever hired. They have been the most annoying crew of people that overstay their time from 9-2PM or longer for the past God knows how long. Seriously not actually attending to anything. Spending thier time disrupting residence walking around with blowers weedeaters sounding like a clown posse.. I have been a homeowner for 40 years and never had a worse yard (should not call it a lawn)! Spent $1800 for lawn restoration, extremely dissatisfied with results. Pete advised that we start in the Spring but later said that the fall was really the time. He is the professional, we trusted him. Lawn was dirt and weeds all summer. I have used Prestige for over 5 years. Over that time my lawn only got worse. Full of crab grass and fungus. They are not very user friendly and actually got nasty when I finally fired them. Just a few short weeks with a new company and my lawn is already looking better.
RUDE, BAD ATTITUDE. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. On more than one occasion, the owner addressed me as if I was an idiot. No matter my inquiry, whether about the rampant weed growth or brown out areas, the response always was the same - - that any problems I had with my lawn were my fault. Bottom line, I was paying Prestige for lawn care and not for verbal abuse. This season, I will be paying someone else for lawn care, and I won't miss Prestige's abusiveness. Could not believe the owner's narcissism. They came on Saturday to fertilize - half my lawn is burnt out in a few days, call the owner, says" there is absolute no chance it was them and I must have done something wrong". He repeatly said it and somehow concocted the Ida that I was cleaning furniture on the lawn and that burnt it out. On the noble side they are refunding and he did offer to fix the lawn but this is not someone I want to do business with anymore. Don't get burned!!!
What a Disappointment, I sign up for a lawn care at the beginning of the season and first you cannot get anyone to answer the phone or return a phone call and that should have been the clue and I did not listen to my guts. My Lawn never looked so bad and Peter the owner blames anybody but himself. I should of never used his services. You should think twice to use him
First of all, the guy is terrible to deal with. He is rude and unhelpful. I asked to be notified when they were coming so I could see the process and he said they could not do that. But the big problem is that fact that they killed many of my plants around the back lawn! I doubt they will recover and I can see granules near them so I know they were hit with weed killer! I just wish I had read the reviews before hiring this company!
I'm actually quite satisfied with the results, but it's a shame I'm on the outs with the company. I've dealt with two people, one a woman who answers the phones and came to give us the estimate, and answers some of the emails. The other a man (owner?) who answers emails and phone calls. The woman was pleasant to deal with, the man was very brusque and borderline disrespectful. My biggest issue is that the service is broken down into separate billable services. We had Prestige Lawn Care, Inc. seed our lawn in 2009. We were promised a lawn that would be green and full. I installed a sprinker system prior to the seeding to insure adequate watering. Prestige guaranteed their work. After the initial seeding, which cost over $1,000, the lawn still looked terrible. They came back and reseeded, which was supposed to be for no charge being that the intial seeding never worked. Well, the second seeding did not work either.
