The best Vet around We love this vet, all of the staff is kind and very helpful and they love all the animals. They are always very compassionate and helpful when an animal is sick or injured. Also their new groomer is excellent. Prices are very reasonable, even the groomer. For a change, my animals don't balk when we walk in the front door, they enter wagging!
Great Vets - Patient People!!! It has been a pleasure getting to know Dr. Clint and Dr. Sue, owners of Chastain Veterinary Medical. This is a family owned business and some of the more wonderful individuals I've met. I strongly encourage anyone looking for boarding, grooming and general veterinary care services to give them a call or visit in person. You and your pet(s) will be glad you did.

This place is a scam! They just want to sell you everything under the sun. They don't really care about you or your pet, they just care about making as much profit as possible. Our dog has several medical conditions so we buy his meds from an online vet pharmacy which is cheaper... but Chastain won't fax the prescriptions to the pharmacy because they want us to buy the medicine from them,...

These guys don't give the right info to you. They will send you on a goose chace and charge you out the wazoo! I don't like vets that act like the mighty green dollar is all that matters, and these guys, that's how it is, the greener the better the more they can get from one person, the earlier they can go home. My dog liked them. I Was Not Impressed I've got a young Golden Lab that I took to Preston Road Animal Hospital for her first shots a few months back. I liked how they treated her, meaning, she didn't end up with the typical fear of the vet many dogs have. She had a bit of an eye infection, and it kind of surprised me that the vet looked into both her eyes, but missed the fact that the left one was very red. At the time, I didn't think much of it.
