Five Stars Good, it is OK
Great printer for durable labels I have used the PT-1230PC for several years now and couldn't be happier. The durability of the labels are amazing. I put one on our mailbox out on the street and three years of Minnesota winters later it looks like the day it was printed! The raw label material is not inexpensive but it sure works. The internal software isn't anything to write home about but the full feature "P-touch" editor that can be downloaded from the Brother website is quite good - plus it handles most other Brother lab... read more
NO POWER CORD INCLUDED I don't have a problem w/the product itself, but unless you want to use it w/ batteries which is costly (I use my label maker a lot!) then you have to spend $10 or more dollars on an ac power cord.
Brother P-Touch labelmaker Model PT-1230 PC This is a replacement for an older model I have had for years, and it is much like the old one. The only problem I have had is with the software download instruction sheet, which is not easy to follow. Even so, I would recommend this labelmaker to anyone who wants to design labels using their PC..
