About Pymatuning Adventure Resort Pymatuning Adventure Resort is in Ashtabula County in northern Ohio, about 50 miles east of Cleveland and only 30 miles south of Lake Erie. The great Pymatuning Lake, a superior walleye fishery, is only feet away from the campground, although the Pymatuning State Park lies between the resort and the lake, necessitating a short detour. For fun on the big lake, our campground has its own fishing boats and pontoon boats for members and guests, docked conveniently nearby. Hidden Gem
They are a Hidden gem for TRA. Staff is helpful and very nice. Camp sites are nice and appear level. Cabins are well equipped and comfortable. There are some issues with maintenance, but I put that on TRA and not the property. They can only do so much with what budget they are given and they do a whole lot. Recommended to any TRA or LOW member. You will also need to try Russell's BBQ when in the area.

Best Kept Secret in NE Ohio
This is an amazing place. The staff is incredible, friendly and helpful. They really care and work hard to ensure everything is great for out stay. There was so much to do with activities and entertainment. We are going to book next year for our entire 2 weeks of vaction!

So far everything has been great. Booked a site until August 4th. Sites are big and very well kept. Staff has been very helpful when we have had questions. Very pleasant too! Lots of things to do. So happy will our choice!

Great KOA
I am amazed by the transformation and hard work that went into this resort from the beginning of the season. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back! Kudos to the staff and management. Everything was well maintained and clean- we didn’t notice any dog poop, even the dog park was poop free!

Amazing getaway
We have been to this park a couple times this season. The staff and management are always outgoing and accommodating. There are always fun activities from the barn movies to root beer floats and color slip and slide. The scenery is amazing and the grounds are very well kept. This visit is the first time we brought our dogs and they LOVED the dog park! It was very well maintained and clean. It’s noticeable all the hard work that has been put into this park this season and the improvements being made.

I have been staying here for about 31 years now. I've seen management, staff and amenities change. From the waterslides not open to being open to being completely taken out. The construction and opening of Maui Mike's cafe to the tear down of it. The indoor pool being 9ft deep to 5ft deep and then the indoor pool being completely removed. The arcade games changing. The adult lounge changing and moving it's location. From only having 3 cabins open at a time to now almost 12 open! From an empty open field turning into a little park model village. Zero camp activities to multiple fun activities each weekend! With all the changes throughout the years - our family still feels at home! I love bringing up our family and friends to share and make memories with us. Thank you for so many great years here! �

My wife and I stayed at Pymatuning Adventure Resort for 14 days, and it was one of the most pleasurable camping experiences we have had!
We are part of Travel Resorts of America and we're having trouble making a reservation, so we called the front desk and we're immediately helped by Courtney, a very knowledgeable and courteous staff member.
While camping there we met Heather who again was very courteous and helpful. She suggested many activities for us to take part in not only there on the camp but in the surrounding area she also suggested dining areas and points of Interest.
It was so pleasant to be met with a positive response to our wanting to camp there. Through Travel Resorts of America, we had gone to Rocky Fork Ranch and were treated like second class citizens because we weren't members of their camp, we will never set foot there again ! ! ! Pymatuning Adventure Resort welcomed us with open arms Friendly Smiles and plenty of activities for the entire family, we love this place, and will return many, many times in the future!!!
From the staff at the main desk, the community room and Resource Building, to the swimming pool, with an excellent and friendly lifeguard who's on duty during all open hours of the pool, we were made to feel at home and as though we are a part of the Travel Resorts of America family!!!
The facility is well-maintained and groomed. Even after they had an f2 hurricane come through they recovered well and are positive and proactive in correcting any problems. This places is a shining example oh what a Family Campground should be!!! Being a Navy veteran I would like to say to Pymatuning Adventure Resort, a very hardy good job, Bravo Zulu, continue with the fine work. You will see us again!!!

Great but had a couple down falls
Place was very clean and upkept. Organized. Pool was on the smaller side and there was a lifeguard on duty!! Big spots! The bingo game though wasnt quite far due to the workers were allowed to play which 3 of them won the prizes. Took away from the guest in mine and a lot of others that played. The other down fall was that the assistant manager was half in the bag on wine and cheese night. Which if your going to manage a place then at least stay sober enough to help the guest out ect. Other than that we had a very good time!!

great time
We had a great time, plenty of activities planned, everything was clean. Staff was helpful. My adult children and my grandchildren ages 4,4,3, and 2 enjoyed it as well. There was something for everyone.
