RecommendedI have been staying here for about 31 years now. I've seen management, staff and amenities change. From the waterslides not open to being open to being completely taken out. The construction and opening of Maui Mike's cafe to the tear down of it. The indoor pool being 9ft deep to 5ft deep and then the indoor pool being completely removed. The arcade games changing. I used to spend a large portion of my summers here. That stopped when they sold the place. It went downhill fast, all the while the rates skyrocketed. I can spend the same amount of money (less if you count the "maintenance fees") to stay at a hotel that has better amenities. I'm amazed they're still in business. I'd never recommend this place to anyone.
Where did everything go? They sold this place as something other then it is. Will memberships be cut to half price? You removed the main selling points. It is Ohio. It is cold most of the year.
Poor took indoor pool out. Out door pool has no cover. Took the water slides down. Only open in summer. Rip off not what we bought into.
Let's see..no more indoor pool, no more bumper boats, no more water slides, no more paint ball, no more Maui Mike's, no more miniature golf, no more adult lounge, no more tennis courts. What's next..no more campers or no more PAR!! What has happened to our resort. What qualifies it as a resort now? I see very little improvement anywhere at the resort. They should greatly reduce our maintenance fees for what they are offering, or at the very least give you the option to give up your membership with no penalty. We are ... read more
