I explained to the doctor that I had a reaction to the type of antibiotic she was prescribing. I felt dismissed when I expressed my concerns. I was told that I was prescribed this antibiotic before. Nothing but scam artists there, if you're paying cash like I was try to go anywhere else but there they will try to get every single dollar you have in your pocket I walked in there miserable and in pain something wrong with my kidneys i spent $130 to get my blood pressure and temperature checked which I have a blood pressure machine and digital thermometer at home, was told if I didn't have another $80 for an x-ray then I could leave with no medication or pain meds and no guarantee of what was wrong, so needless to say I di... read more

Walked into quick Care med in pain and feeling bad gave them $130 for the office visit cuz I don't have insurance after 2 hour wait finally got to see a nurse practitioner that told me I had blood in my urine and for another $80 maybe they could tell me what was wrong if I don't give them another 80 then there's nothing they could do for me so since I didn't have $80 extra I was forced to leave with no medication whatsoever still in pain and feeling horrible

I was seen by Ellen H. She was rude and condescending. She was more interested in giving me a speech than having a conversation and listening to my concerns. My husband was in the room, and saw all of the events unfold. Among other things, Ellen ordered blood work to be done, and subsequently, Tyler was assigned to do the blood draw. I have had many blood draws in my life, with no issues. We waited 3 hours. At 1 point we waited 30 mins with no patients in rooms. My insurance couldn't be verified so I had to pay out of pocket. Will make the 45 minute drive to Brooksville next time.

Ellen is a great LPN. She is very experienced, wise, and has good judgment. She really helped me today. You are lucky to have her working at Quikmed.
