Tried these on my inground vinyl lined pool vacuum. ... Tried these on my inground vinyl lined pool vacuum. I have several wrinkles in my liner. The vacuum barely traversed the pool even when I maximized the water flow for the vacuum. I returned the item as it did not offer an improvement.
These fit the MX8! We bought an MX8 a few years ago. We got a marketing email from Zodiac about the new model that comes with the upgraded turbines. I went looking to see how much for the new model and in looking realized I could retrofit our older model with these. Takes all of 5 minutes to install them. Actually took longer to hunt up the screwdriver than it did to put them on. Single screw holds each one on. There is an instruction sheet included. Easy peesy and I saved a bunch of $$$ by not buying a new cleaner.
It does the scrubbing while cleaning the entire pool ! WOW ! What a difference adding these scrubbing turbines to my MX8, no more brushing the side walls of my pool, they do the job just fine. Plus they scrub the entire pool in a short period of time,, simply remove old turbines and add these scrubber turbines to your MX8 ,about a 5 minute job. It does the scrubbing while cleaning the entire pool all in one.

Perfect upgrade to MX8!! Lightning fast and easy install. No longer manually brush your pool! Exactly what I needed to upgrade my zodiac mx8!! Install was super fast (less than 5min with only a philips screwdriver). Just grab your mx8, flip it upside down, slowly turn the turbines until the screw hole lines up. Remove the screw and lift out the old turbine then reverse to put in your new scrubbing turbine!! Secure packaging as well. Impressed, but take note! Replace the Trax too! Scrub! Scrub! Scrub! Strongly suggest replacing the trax at the same time! Replaced my turbines with these and could definitely see the difference. However, because these have actual contact with the pool surface, which obviously make it work harder AND give the trax LESS traction by lifting them up a little, don't expect the cleaner to climb all the way up the walls to the surface before falling away or turning around.
