Perfect upgrade to MX8!! Lightning fast and easy install. No longer manually brush your pool! Exactly what I needed to upgrade my zodiac mx8!! Install was super fast (less than 5min with only a philips screwdriver). Just grab your mx8, flip it upside down, slowly turn the turbines until the screw hole lines up. Remove the screw and lift out the old turbine then reverse to put in your new scrubbing turbine!! Secure packaging as well. Impressed, but take note! Replace the Trax too! Scrub! Scrub! Scrub! Strongly suggest replacing the trax at the same time! Replaced my turbines with these and could definitely see the difference. However, because these have actual contact with the pool surface, which obviously make it work harder AND give the trax LESS traction by lifting them up a little, don't expect the cleaner to climb all the way up the walls to the surface before falling away or turning around. Works on the MX6 Cleaner These are supposed to be an upgrade intended for the MX8 cleaner. I own an MX6. I did a parts lookup on the Zodiac website for the non-scrubbing turbine part numbers for both the MX8 and MX6. They were the same. That told me this would fit my MX6 as well. Sure enough, it does. Tooks less than a minute to remove the original and replace it with this upgraded part. I now have a scrubber version of the MX6 and couldn't be happier.
