Tasty delicious and a cool vibe in northwestern indiana! It feels like a Chicago place. So many good Japanese whiskeys and ramen to love. Brilliant broth. Yummy noodles. Everything made with love! I want to come here late night and get my drink on!
What an amazing surprise to find such a high quality Ramen joint in the basement of a courthouse in Indiana! I am visiting from Los Angeles as my mother in law was in hospital. I wanted a bite to eat and some WiFi to check in with work. What I found was very high quality Ramen. Living in LA and traveling for business, I have eaten a LOT of Ramen all over the country. This was everything you want in Ramen on a brisk fall day. This broth made with love like your grandma would make... if she was Japanese! Amazing noodles. Loca... read more
I honestly hate saying this...I really really do. It's not great. It's trying hard but there is such simplicity to great ramen broth that they are missing big time. The minute I saw the color I knew I wasn't returning. There are things being done right..soy egg was good, pork belly was good and the wood eat mushrooms were great but it's all about the broth and that just needs work badly. Aside from that the appetizers and drinks are high for what you are getting and the rest of the menu doesn't hit the ramen vibe but... read more
Overall we really enjoyed our experience at Raman District. They have only been open a week when we went. They opened at five and there was a line of people trying to get in. They need to work on timing a little bit, I feel dishes came out a little too quickly so I could not enjoy my appetizer and my drink. I've eaten Ramen a round the world including in Japan and I thought the taste was right on par. They had some interesting twist for appetizers and for drinks. The highlight of the night was the desert which had bacon ice ... read more
If I could leave zero stars I would. Gnats everywhere. White washed. Terrible tasting. We got three different ramens, gyoza, and fried rice. None of it was good. Waitress didn't seem to care that we were very disappointed watching us. $100 for a very poor, dirty experience. The only good thing was the alcohol basic and hard to mess up.

Used to really love Ramen District specifically for their Drunken Noodle, but overtime they switched out the chicken and most recently with my latest order they have now changed the noodles. The veggies are good, but getting disappointed with the constant changes. The noodles and meal just aren't as good as what it used to be.
went here on a date with my boyfriend on a sunday afternoon and we were the only people there . as soon as we got our food our table was surrounded with gnats. there was an exit door to the outside and they had it propped open so i'm sure that made it worse. they also gave me a bowl with a chip in it and i didn't realize until i had finished my food. food was okay but i wouldn't go here again!
normally pretty good and I get takeout here a decent amount but I got the chicken bao buns today and the chicken they gave me was frozen chicken tenders... on top of that the meat portion in my ramen felt a bit small but that may just be my perspective. ultimately a bit disappointed.
Sadly I gave such a low review because the food in my opinion was not good. My husband and I ordered the birria ramen , the pork belly ramen, edamame, and the tots. The broth in the pork belly ramen had such an off putting smell and just no good flavor balance, the birria ramen did not taste like anything either. I do not like to compare places because each business is different but we have had ramen at different locations so we have an idea of what good ramen taste like. The food looks good but flavor wise it needs work. Ho... read more
