Always love Red Eye Grill— it’s my go to spot for pre and post dinner. I actually visited twice in a weeks time. On my first visit i checked in with the host and was seated at a tiny table near the door-my party was for three people. After sitting there freezing because of the continued door opening I asked to be moved. I was. fantastic ambiance, big windows, high ceiling, beautiful decor,best fabulous waiter, food very good n great value highly recommend
Nice menu with a focused offering across different food groups organized by type (seafood, meat, etc). Nice selection of sushi / we had the salmon avocado & caviar which was melt in your mouth delicious and the perfect temperature. The food was cooked to our request and served warm. I would describe the interior decor as “quirky” with middle eastern paintings on all of the walls, dim lighting and relaxed atmosphere. We would eat here again on our next visit to NY from Boston. Only about a 15 min walk from the Park Plaza.

Carnegie’s NY Pops Concert
Our waiter, Scott, was wonderful. We can several hours before Symphony to eat, drink, relax and enjoy. He was attentive, friendly… helpful with food selections… did not rush us and made the evening so wonderful. Thank you Redeye Grill and especially Scott 😊
Best part about Redeye Grill is the wonderful mater dei. Helpul, cheerful and so engaging. Makes for a great start to the dining experience. Helps out wherever needed. Brought out freshly baked cookies for all the diners and passed them out. Never lets the pressure get to him. Across from Carnegie Hall and a great spot!
Christmas in the city
Banana cream pie was bland. Scallops were cold, as was the sauce.
