We had a reservation for dinner pre-show. The dining room is spacious. Very comfortable seating. Excellent food. Lovely personnel. Near to Carnegie Hall and City Center.
The food is good and the price is excellent(We ordered from the lunch pre fixe menu. For $39.99, we got more than we expected. Of course, we had ordered the garlic bread separately but it’s o must whenever we go there. Strongly recommended. And the service was excellent, very professional. In the summer time, you can sit outside and enjoy the city. Internal design is elegant, everything is spotless. Our family really loves the Redeye. Whenever I have friends visiting NY4, this is my first choice to treat them for meals.
Ein wunderschönes Lokal mitten in Midtown! Sehr schöne Atmosphäre und super Service. Gute Speisen, etwas teuer, wie überall im NY 2024.
Everything our waiter Rene recommended was tasty. The homemade Garlic bread loaf and the banana cream pie were especially delicious!
Our waitress was so sweet and kind. It was Xmas day, so I’m sure the staff wanted to go home soon. But she was great, high energy. Checked on us a lot. The food was great. My daughter had the rainbow sushi, I had the cheeseburger and my husband had steak. The drinks were great as well. This was a first time eating there, I would definitely go back. And absolutely, make reservations! We did, but others behind us didn’t.
It's been a while since I've been to redeye, and know it's a bustling, touristy place vs a spot for locals. The quality of the food was meh. The tuna tartare was drenched in a goopy sauce - which wasn't mentioned on the menu. It was thick and disappointing. The menu seems to have strayed from it's seafood roots, and that's not a good thing. I get the need to appeal to a broader crowd, but think the menu expansion has made more things mediocre.

Vigilia di Natale con la famiglia, siamo stati benissimo. Gran bistecche, desserts giganteschi, personale squisito, ci hanno offerto un calice di bollicine. Conto meno traumatico di quel che temevo.
