Great pre-show dinner, great server, let us take our time. Music from the bar was a bonus! Food was tasty and plentiful.
Food and service were great! A first, the waiter said that they were out of the Short Ribs and I was very disappointed. He then came back to the table and said they just got more in and would be able to make the dish. The one bad thing about the evening was the accessibility for people with walkers. My mother uses a walker and there was no ramp for her. I had to carry the walker up the stairs, and she had to walk up the stairs which is very uncomfortable for her. loved this place - i brought my family here for dinner christmas day having found it on open table and we just loved everything about it: decor, food, and service. i live in MT and am not in NY often but shall certainly come here again when i am there!
When we met the host he shook my hand and welcomed us. He pointed to a table by the front window and asked if we liked it. We said it would be great. While we waited about 10 minutes for them to prepare the table, a second host gave us each a glass of champagne. The atmosphere was great. There was a musician playing the piano and singing. Me and my boyfriend went to Redeye not quite knowing what to expect. We immediately got greeted and seated by the friendliest people. The wine list was amazing and the food was out of this world. And to top it off, the service was incredible and very fast! Definitely a 10/10!!
Have been to Red Eye Grille twice, the ambiance is wonderful, chic decor but not stuffy, love the large circular booths, excellent service, food was wonderful and not too pricey. Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner.
Great service, great food and great to see Angela. We will return in February.
