Our go to place in Manhattan for a great meal , attentive service, at affordable prices.
The crab cake with shrimp is suberb - order extra sauce. the tuna tartar is exceptionally well prepared.

I hadn't eaten at the Redeye Grill for a while. A friend was visiting from Seattle, and she wanted something that felt "New York-y." This option was perfect! Despite being a large space, the restaurant is divided into sections and each feels like its own experience. The food was delicious, we ate in the smaller dining area which was less noisy and quaint. The live music sic was a surprise and plus!!
From the service to the food, everything was excellent. The only reason the noise level was high is because there was live music. I’ve been going to Redeye since the 90’s and have never had a bad meal.
We especially enjoyed the live music while dining.
Love that you can get food late. Food is always good. Bar area my favorite for live good quality music
