For those of us with anxious dogs, there can be a bit of embarrassment that comes with public outings. My oldest can be a bit of a hassle. In the past 4 years, I have never been faced with any judgement from the staff. Even after enrolling in school full time and occasionally getting behind on vaccinations, the staff always works really well with my schedule and my budget. I can’t recommend RVH enough! Blue may not show it, but he loves them. And April too, once she gains the courage to go through the big “scary” doors.
My Stormy has been there since a puppy with Dr. Kinnarney. He came to us sick and Dr. Kinnarney worked with us to get Stormy regulated so he could have a normal life. The staff there all know and love him and it's his second home where he feels safe and loved too. Most recently he had a serious seizure and the staff couldn't have been more attentive, kind and sensitive to him and us through a traumatic situation. Thank you Dr. K and all staff front to back for what you do every day!
Living in Summerfield, we go to a nearby vet. When our 10 yr old Am Bulldog mix was said to have a large mass, our vet sent us to CVS to get an ultrasound. CVS wanted $500 and they couldn’t get her in for 3 weeks. I called around, and RVH said yes, they do have ultrasound and could get her in a matter of a few days. In 2 days we had our answer. Great staff! I have no idea which vet Ammy and Ghost saw— but everyone was pleasant and very kind to our very dramatic huskies! Our vet recommended that we go here for x-rays asap (they were about to close)and said they were better than the other ER vets closer by. WE AGREE! With 5 rescue cats, 2 rescue dogs and a husky…..we have had to visit other emergency vets. I would recommend RVH to anyone needing emergency care! It was a 40 minute drive, but definitely worth it!! We love Dr. Goodwin there! Ever since our babies starting seeing her last year we will never go anywhere else! She's so sweet and truly cares about our babies! She is great at what she does, she got Colts ear infection cleared up when no other Vet office ever could, and when Dixie broke her toe she took such great care of her and made sure she healed 100%. She takes her time with them and makes sure she explains everything. Highly recommend Reidsville Vet and especially Dr. Goodwin !!! She has to stay there forever!
Our dog Brutus had developed a mass and became very sick. We went to several veterinarians before coming to RVH and Dr. Goodwin was the first to do the correct testing and figured out he has MCT cancer. She performed surgery to remove three tumors and has done amazing with keeping us informed and following up on Brutus. We were referred to NC State Veterinary Hospital for specialty oncology care. Jade gets excellent care from the vets and care team
was very happy with my 3 visits. my cats were well taken care of even though prognosis wasnt good for 2. The doctors explained everything, listened to my concerns. i didn’t feel rushed. was glad it has late hours and overnite stays .
