I really like all the doctors at RHJ but as I have gotten deeper into my pregnancy, it has been extremely difficult to get appointments. It is frustrating to have to bounce around to all the different locations which aren’t convenient. At my 36 week appointment, the scheduler only made the appointment with the dr, not the sonogram so while the office was able to accommodate me, it was frustrating the scheduling didn’t auto schedule both appointments at once.
I have PCOS and this office never mentions it or acknowledges the issues that come from it like weight gain. This time I was told about diet and exercise and wasn’t even offered a follow up appointment or a referral to look into my hormones. Seriously disappointing that even health insurance doesn’t guarantee quality care.

Our team would like to discuss this experience further.
I was left to wait online nearly 45 minutes before the doctor got online and there wasn’t even an apology or explanation. I’m concerned that two of the doctors/PAs I have worked with are leaving the practice.
Business response:

My appointment was delayed by over an hour. It is not until I asked about how much longer I had to wait (It was already 45 minutes after my appointment time) that someone checked and said I would need to wait another 20 minutes. I understand things can happen that create delays. As a courtesy, I wish I had been either called ahead of time to tell me to show up later, or at least upon arrival. I missed a meeting that I could have attended in my car, had I known. I have been a patient for over 20 years. Appointments were rarel... read more

I was a patient for 17 years. I called for an appointment as I was bleeding heavily for a very long period and with other symptoms. The receptionist explained that since I hadn't been in a while, I was considered a new patient and that they could see me in a month. I subsequently had to go to urgent care where the doctor gave me hormones for a brief period to bridge me to an appointment. My bleeding resumed as soon as I was done with the prescription at which point, I called back to Reiter Hill explaining the situation (aga... read more

I've been going to RHJ for 14 years. This is the first time the office has struggled because they are understaffed. It took me three weeks to get an appointment because there were always more than 20 people in line ahead of me on the phone - taking more than 40 minutes to make an appointment is crazy. The nurses are wearing too many hats - lab work, blood work, etc. RHJ has amazing doctors and staff and I don't want to change practices. Please fix the staffing shortage.
No one took my tempurature when I came in. At other doctors offices you wait in the car instead of the waiting room and are called in. This might be a good practice at the Falls Chruch office to reduce COVID exposure. Also the wait time to see the doctor is always too long.
Dr. Busch was the only doctor to figure out why I had certain symptoms. Because if her I was able to address them and get better.
The tele appointments have been frustrating overall because paying a co-pay to have a short chat with the doctor seems like a waste of money. One of my tele appointments with the office was literally 10 minutes.
