There’s many reasons why my experience was unpleasant. I was told that closing wouldn’t get pushed back and that everyone has what they needed. Another reason my experience was unpleasant is that I never received phone calls or emails back in a timely manner. The house buying experience has been everything but smooth, and put a bad taste in my mouth about ever buying a house again.

Treat people like people not just a number or someone you're going to make money from. Answer questions and the phone. Have respect for people and treat them with dignity. If someone doesn't understand something explain it to them don't be snappy and indignant.

They should have known that in New Jersey, its a married state. Therefore the wife needs to sign documents. Had to have a 2nd notary come to have my wife sign the documents, thus delaying the closing.

1. First off we were told the loan would only be in my name. We were never told that had changed and both our names were on the loan. Very little communication. 2. They were over thorough when it came to checking my past employment. Which, I felt, created an inconvenience for my past employer as well as my current employer (who was contacted on two separate occasions). 3. We were given a check to pay off a loan.
