Renu was the only problem I had with this re-finance. She was hard to talk to. She seemed to talk fast, interrupting, and domineering. But the biggest problem I have with her is, she told me we would be at 2.375% in the beginning. But in the end we are at 2.625%. She said her fees were $1500, which is 1/3 higher than everyone else. She certainly was not worth it. All of the other (M of O) reps were great, and I am glad we were able to make this happen. Renu was the only weak link in this chain.

Communication was always passive. I had to ask in order to receive information. Some information was incorrect, like being told we would close in our home. Some information was just not given and we didn't know to ask for it. Example: How does funding work after we close? Most of our interactions were maybe average, but nowhere even approaching "exquisite". We did close, which was our goal, but the process was not up to par.

My negative fedledback isn't directed at Renu. It's directed at the level of miscommunication, unreadiness, miscalculated numbers, forgotten forms and just the overall unprofessional feeling I've had since we've got this whole thing started. It's like the surprises just kept coming. Complete lack of communication. The extra $2500 we were told we needed to pay at closing and the forgotten 22 closing documents were the final straw for us. Unfortunately we won't recommend this place to anyone.

While I know these things happen, I was quoted a rate, turned in all my paperwork that night, and then the bank wasn't able to lock in the rate given to me. It went up by 0.5% which was pretty upsetting. I know Renu has promised a refi if the rates ever drop lower at no cost to us, but still, if a rate is quoted that should stand for at least 24 hrs so people can get their paperwork together.

She lied about the points that I would have to pay , no communication and let my loan expire on me so I had to do a different rate in the end that was higher !

We have refinanced many times in the past and we have never had one take as long as this one did nor have as many issues. We even had to pay for another termite letter as they couldn't get one office to work with the another to keep it moving. Very dissatisfied.
