Dr. Rutherford explained everything thoroughly, giving all of the options available for me to make a decision.He made it clear that I could contact the clinic again anytime to follow up on different options.
Dr. Richard Rutherford performed my total knee replacement, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. He is highly skilled, compassionate, caring, and took the time to clearly explain the entire process, which made me feel confident and at ease. My recovery and results have exceeded my expectations. I’m grateful to Dr. Rutherford and his outstanding team and highly recommend him to anyone needing knee replacement.
Dr. Rutherford performed surgery on my wife and now it is my turn. He is very pleasant and knowledgeable. He seems like he is in no hurry and listens well.

I think it probably has all been said (positive). He is also very serious about his work but so pleasant. I had alot of health issues prior to surgery and he took it very serious which gave me confidence. Also, after surgery for a year, my knee was swollen and though he did not seem concerned, he didnt want to take chances so i am going to have another test done to be sure. This was my first visit with Dr, Rutherford and I immediately trusted him. I could tell that he really understood and cares about what I was experiencing with what brought me to see him. Also, the staff was very professional as well and made me feel comfortable. I didn’t have any of the anxiety I usually have when going to a Dr.
I was able to schedule a same day appointment for an acute issue and Dr Rutherford rendered a thoughtful assessment which was conservative and hopeful. He gave me several options to consider which was also helpful. He is a very pleasant and competent physician.
Dr Rutherford analyzed my knee and told me my options. He didn’t push surgery.
Dr. Rutherford worked with me for over a year prior to my recent total knee replacement performed on 12/08/25. I had to address a serious fluid retention issue before he would agree to the desired knee surgery. I only mention this to demonstrate his competence and professional guidance to assure the success of the treatment plan. My surgery surprise was the great attention to pain management and I can share that I had minimal pain (less than 2) after surgery. Rehab is next on my journey to full recovery.
