Dr. R took time to really listen to what was going on and didn’t just try to put my knee issues in a box like the other orthopedic doctors have. I have a better understanding of why I’m having the pain I have and we developed a strategy based on what I wanted instead of just throwing injections at me.
I’m a 78 yo male with hip pain. I wasn’t able to enjoy life as I wanted. My first visit with Dr. Rutherford was great. He asked a lot of questions, seemed very interested in my problems and offered a treatment that would help me get my mobility back. It worked! I can now walk without pain and I’m looking forward to doing all the activities I’ve been missing….but maybe not playing soccer again too soon.
Staff were helpful. Dr Rutherford explained my condition in detail as well as my options. He is very knowledgeable & a good communicator. When it’s time to do my knee replacement, I will arrange my surgery with him.
I could not be more pleased with Dr. Rutherford and his entire staff. Dr. R. explained everything so well and with compassion. Luckily I don't need a hip replacement, but when and if I do, he will be the one I go to.
In addition to being exceptionally professional and knowledgeable, Dr. Rutherford is very affable. He listens to you and does all he can to help you.
This is a wonderful facility. Very friendly and organized staff and also very clean throughout. Dr. Rutherford was so pleasant and so patient in answering questions. I went in very anxious due to needing knee replacement but after speaking with him I feel more at ease about getting the surgery, His knowledge and demeanor and the high recommendations that I was given for him as a surgeon has definitely helped make my decision to finally, schedule a much-needed surgery.
Excellent bedside manner, caring, empathetic and sympathetic, takes time to review YOUR personal situation, recommends the best treatment for YOUR care, but most of all - he CARES and he LISTENS!!
Dr. Ruthford listened too my issues. Examined my leg and the X-rays. He than discussed the possibility of having to do surgery. We, then developed an action plan which I will implement.
I’ve always had great experiences with Dr. Rutherford. He’s performed two surgeries for me and I have had nothing but great success with them. He’s an excellent surgeon! ReneeBland
