Dr. Rutherford is very professional, helpful, and kind.
Both knees were replaced by Dr Rutherford. I have never felt rushed while being seen by him and he thoroughly answers any questions you have. He explains in layman's terms to be sure you understand any procedure being done and what the follow-up care entails. He is compassionate, easy to talk to and puts you at ease with his humor. I have complete trust in his skills as a surgeon and as an attentive human.
Dr. Rutherford listens to your situation and understands your needs. He is an excellent doctor.

Dr Rutherford replaced my hip several years ago and is now helping me navigate through the options for arthritic knees. He is an enormously talented surgeon and up-to-date on all the advances in treatment and surgery. Dr. Rutherford performed total knee replacement surgery on my right knee. I chose Dr. Rutherford for his sterling reputation as an expert and leader in the field. From our first meeting, Dr. Rutherford proved to be twarm, houghtful, patient, and willing to answer my questions. The surgery was successful, and Dr. Rutherford has continued to provide a high level of care during the post-operative phase. I give him my highest rating.

Dr. R took time to really listen to what was going on and didn’t just try to put my knee issues in a box like the other orthopedic doctors have.
