Although the property offers a self-check-in option, I was unable to use it. As a result, I had to wait in a line for nearly an hour because my room was not ready even after the designated check-in time. Additionally, only two staff members were available at the front desk, which contributed to the extended delay.

I cancelled my reservation in the time allotted so I can get refund of deposit they took at time of reservation. Was cancelled 3 weeks ago and I have left messages but no return call or email or no refund. Horrible business practice. I will sue them if I dont receive my little $109.00 back in next 5 days

Like many others have mentioned I too have been scammed by this hotel. We were fined a “smoking” fee in the absurd amount of $396.83. I spoke to the a hotel manager regarding these ridiculous and unfounded charges as we absolutely did NOT smoke in the room. He proceeded to bring a sheet with due fees and they were unable to account for charges on my invoices. Avoid this hotel at all costs! Take your business elsewhere! This is how they lure people with “discounted” fees on 3rd party booking sites and make up for these “disco... read more

I had a recent stay for my birthday weekend I had comped rooms so I figured I’d give them a try since they are no longer Caesar’s property. Today 9/23 I checked my cc statement and see a 396.00 cc charge so it took 30 minutes to even speak to a live rep and I was informed they a smoking fee was charged to my account! I don’t even smoke I haven’t smoked cigarettes or any other smoke product in years since I’ve had Covid and it affected my lungs very badly. When I first walked into the room it smelt musty and a little like cig... read more

I was staying at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas for the Canelo fight. While I was out, my room was broken into, and I had thousands of dollars worth of items stolen, including my laptop, a paycheck, and a Rolex watch. When I went downstairs to report the crime, I was met with complete indifference from the staff. They told me I had to wait in a long line to speak with a manager, despite my urgent and serious situation. I was treated as if my problem didn't matter at all, which made an already terrible experience even worse. They... read more

I would leave a zero rating if I could. We stayed at a "comped" room July 25-28. Upon check out, our folio showed zero charges and zero balance. A few days later there was a charge for smoking in the room. We were still in Vegas so my wife attempted to rectify the issue. The staff was dismissive and told us to work it through the credit card company. They know that with the BS smoking report they're covered. This is not an accident. It is a trend. DO NOT STAY AT RIO HOTEL or gamble at the Casino. At least the Mob wanted the ... read more

Overcharged and they do not have customer service phone number. You can only complain via AI and never gets human interaction.

We stayed one night at Rio Hotel & Casino on June 1, 2025. Upon arrival, we were shocked by the strong smell of cigarette smoke and marijuana throughout the hallways. Check-in took nearly 40 minutes — only two front desk agents were working, and I was 8 months pregnant, which made standing in line after a long trip physically exhausting. The first room we were given reeked of cat urine and cigarette smoke. We requested a change, and while the second room smelled slightly better, it was still unpleasant — but we were too tire... read more
