Do not recommend at all. Staff was horrible, not professional, and did not know anything. Got the run around, different information given, and rude if they answered the phone. Lost all items brought. Understaffed and staff was changing daily. The doctor thought he knew what he was doing and did not listen to patients history or family input. I was CEC'd here and i doubt anyone will ever read this but here's my opinion just in case. I was kept for 10 days and I suspect it had more to do with my insurance than anything. They didn't change my medication and didn't speak to me so there was zero reason for an extended stay. I was the most normal one there. Let me think of the pros. Single rooms/no roommate. My other half went to SMH NORTHSHORE SLIDELL HOSPITAL for medical clearance for admit into a VOLUNTARY detox/rehab bc he needed help to SAFELY wean off of his pain medications he was put on 6+ years ago following a 30+ foot fall at work. He didn't want to be on them anymore. The ER doc decided he was a danger to himself and PEC'd him for supposed suicidal ideations he does NOT have! This place is HORRIBLE they do not help you here. Staff is rude with an I dont care attitude. There is no therapy for people who check in and all they do is add medication instead of therapy and if you deny the medication they say you are refusing treatment Ochsner should be ashamed to have their name attached to this facility animals are treated better than this the only reason it has one star is because I could t post without a star

This is the worst place to work it is cult like. Can't get off on time when someone is late the night and day supervisors refuse to relieve you on time instead they get in their cars and go home mgmt does not care about their employees or the patients RNs stay away if you care about your license mgmt lies constantly and the truth is not in them very high turnovers techs are off the unit outside of the building sleeping in their cars no one is watching high risk patients no one listens to complaints or grievances instead they label you whistleblowers as TROU3LE MAKERS .... read more
Oh, boy, where do I even start with this? Let me start off by saying that I've been to this facility 3 times and my most recent experience was from a s*icide attempt. Most hospitals in the Uptown/Garden District of New Orleans will send you here. I would say that each experience has been more or less the same. My first issue with this hospital is that it's very freezing in most rooms. Some shifts don't allow blankets anywhere on the unit so make sure to tell a relative to bring you a sweater.
