I love Dr. Lawler and his office so much. I was so happy to find a doctor who not only tolerates patients who use NFP, but in fact doesn't prescribe birth control at all. I am having several gynecological issues now and we have a plan for how to handle them. He looks at my chart and can see what issues we might have and knows that there ARE ways to help and clearly explains what he intends to do. The staff are also very friendly and helpful with insurance questions and whatnot. Highly recommend!
Dr. Lawler and the other doctors in the practice are fantastic. The staff was never less than great as well. They are compassionate and take the time to listen and talk. My experience with them was for prenatal care - I highly recommend!!
Love love love. I have had three children and Lawler made me feel so comfortable as a patient. I actually feel spoiled because now I want my primary care physician to be as caring as Lawler but can't find another doctor as attentive. I will keep going to him and I admire his beliefs. Reading other reviews I was delighted to find out he isn't handing out birth control like it is candy! Great doctor. Very attentive, Christian and knowledgable. Made me feel calm and relaxed during my daughter's birth.
Dr. Lawler is the best Doctor I have been to. He is attentive and respectful. He is one of very few doctors in the Chicago area who cater to the needs of women practicing natural family planning. He does bring his own values into his practice, but I think that it is an indication of how genuine he is in his care for his patients.
Very wonderful experience, he is very caring. I had to switch due to insurance reasons and I love having him as my doctor.
I went in for my first pregnancy appointment and when Dr. Lawler did the ultrasound, there was no heartbeat. What was a difficult time for both my husband and I was made a little easier having such a compasionate doctor. Dr. Lawler preformed my D&C a short time later and I will never forget him holding my hand while I cried as I drifted off. Some doctors are just "there" I believe that he is there because he truly cares about his patients. He is a very good doctor, was there for my 3 c-sections.
Very smart, patient, and understanding to his patients' needs
I drive from downtown Chicago to go to Dr. Lawler. Because I have some health complications, I need a physician who really knows what he's doing, and also respects my values. Dr. Lawler has tremendous knowledge and skill. He made sure during the various biopsies I needed to undergo that I was as comfortable as possible and also that I understood exactly what he was doing beforehand.
