I lived at Rocky Creek Apartments in Tampa, managed by IRT Living, and unfortunately my experience was very negative. We discovered toxic black mold inside the vents throughout our apartment, which caused serious health issues for me. When we first reported the issue, the leasing office was uncooperative and dismissive. We had to hire our own specialist and pay out of pocket to have mold samples collected and tested because no one from the property was willing to address it. Horrible experience: I applied in January of 2023, paid my application fee, didn’t move in and leased elsewhere. Found out over a year later that they sent my account to collections for an admin fee that they are saying I owed.. The worst part is they misspelled my information and never contacted me via email or phone to let me know or try to resolve this for over a year.
