Our reservation was smooth and did not wait much to be seated with our party. Our server was amazing, I am kicking myself for not remembering her name and giving her the credit she deserves. She knew the menu very well, management did a good job training her. Drinks were all good. The food was delicious! We had the table side special pasta and amazingly the best pasta I’ve ever had. Very rich in cheese. We will be back, thank you!
On a recent visit from Texas, our experience at Roman’s was outstanding. The food and the server - Lucky - were more than memorable. Top notch cuisine delivered with care and joy! We’ll be back during our next visit to San Diego.
The specials were outstanding- one salmon and one speciality pasta. The best pasta I’ve ever had. We were celebrating our anniversary, the waiter made us feel so special. We’ll be back soon!
First timer here. We were looking for authentic Italian food. Our salads were good, our pastas were pretty average. Our server was very attentive. We had an issue with the bill. We gave two cards and asked for a split bill. They charged half n one card and the bill in total in the other card. It was very nice I got the special pasta and was very good also lucki was a very nice server thank you so much
Overall okay experience… still have some work to do in order to compete with other restaurants in the area. Drinks should always be delivered before the food for example. Waiters should know what is included in the pasta special, we were told shrimp was included but got chicken. Aside from the little details it was a fun evening.
What a great place to have a delicious meal! Initially we had a reservation for a table outside but we told the hostess (who was really polite and nice with us) that it was our first time and since the weather was kind of cold she recommended to be inside but the only spot left was at the bar, which we agreed to take! It was a great experience with the bartenders and the food recommendations were amazing! Great place!
Food was average. Price on the high side for the quality offered. Very loud in the evening
The food was just okay. The cheese board was $30 and not very good. Our lamb was over cooked and the other dishes were fine. Our server switched out halfway through, but the 2nd server, Dale, was very nice.
