One of our favorite things to do in Reno is to go to a show at the beautiful Eldorado theater and then go to dinner at Roxy. We have done this for years, as we live in Reno, and it never disappoints. Every time we go, we think it is better than the last time. The food is wonderful, service is great - best night out ever!
My wife and I had a date night with dinner, show and hotel stay. The meal was very good. I had the dover sole, my wife had the scallops. Both were very good and the bread served was warm and delicious. We were too full for desert. It was a very enjoyable evening.
We thought the food was very good and the service was excellent including all the busboys. We told the operator on the phone it was our 60th wedding anniversary and she didn't know what to do with that and when I made the reservation online I wrote in the space for comments. We didn't expect a Broadway production, but thought maybe a cheap glass of bubbly might be offered.

We came here on a Monday night for dinner after making reservations. We were quickly greeted and seated in a booth. The waiter was very kind, as was the older gentleman host - both were very catering and seemed to really love what they do. We ordered the lobster escargot style as an appetizer and it was good but small in my opinion for $17. I then ordered the scallops with lobster on succotash for dinner and my husband ordered the small filet minion. Good food, small portions, over-priced. A nice experience but other restaurants offer more value.
The evening was made even more pleasant by our waiter Albert, who combined knowledge and wit to make for a very pleasant evening.
My wife and I shared an appetizer, baked lobster escargot style that was excellent. My Caesar salad was also very good. My wife had the 1/2 pound of crab legs which she said was very, very good. I ordered the 12 oz. ribeye, and while it was prepared just as I asked, medium-rare, it was quite tough and had a fair amount of gristle. An anniversary dinner with my beautiful, wonderful wife. The meal was outstanding...perhaps the best filet I've ever encountered. The waiter was great and helped us have a fabulous dinner and make it to our show on time. I would gladly recommend to others.
