Company asked me to submit a review. These are the issues we’ve experienced over 4 years of service with them. Overall, ok trash service. - Inconsistent pick-up times, often between 2am-5am waking us up. - Trash cans are thrown after emptied instead of stood up causing cans to crack and bust in the corners. - Lids not returned to can and just thrown all over yard and driveway as well. - Any trash that animals have gotten into and scattered around the bins isn’t picked up and again scattered around the yard. - When I reporte... read more
I have always had a good experience with Rumpke. Their prices are competitive, they send reminders when there will be a delay in pickup due to a holiday and customer support is helpful. My trash is always picked up on schedule and my trash can left on the side of the road where it belongs. I have no complaints.
We were with Legacy and Rumpke bought them out. I’m not happy with Rumpke. They don’t do bulk like legacy and Republic do. They one allow 1 item. We called about it and they said to put it out (4-5 things) so we put them out. They didn’t even pick them up and told us we have to pay for it. Then the next week they only picked up one of our trash cans. Which we then had to call again and they came back out. Our rates went up. We plan on switching.
The garbage cans on my street aren’t being emptied until after 4 pm, sometimes near 5 pm. Would be happier with earlier pickup. Recycle is always in the morning and that’s great. No other issues. Question: what do you suggest for shredded paper? I would like to see the paper recycled. Is it true it can be bagged and placed in your recycle bin? How do you dispose of it?
