The restaurant was beautiful and our server was amazing as well as the food. Only thing was the music could have been quieter
we ordered mushroom soup，steak，chocolate cake. the soup and steak were too salty for us. but the chocolate cake was Good.
We found the atmosphere to be comfortably casual, but well appointed. The staff were professional and we got seated right away. I was truly impressed with the wine list, and how well the Wine fit the menu. The steaks were above average from what I have experienced in other places, and the Caesar salad was better than I expected. Oh yeah, don’t forget the apple pie, to die for. We will be back. I ordered a steak salad and I got a wedge salad and steak. Steak was medium rare and I asked for medium. I didn't send back, as I was with a client.

Having been to Saltlik many times before, my sisters(from out of town) and I planned to go to this restaurant weeks in advance, and requested a nice booth "at the back" of the restaurant. This would have provided a quiet and cozy atmosphere where we could talk. The food has always been spectacular as well. Great food; slow service. Food was not delivered together and the wait for drinks and refills was excruciating. We would have ordered a bottle of wine with dinner but our pre-dinner drinks came just before our meal. Worst of it was the waiter blaming a busy bar when we could see the bar staff sitting back chatting.
It was my first time dining at Saltlik and I was VERY impressed with the flavour and quality of my Petit Filet. The sides were excellent, service was great. I found the place a bit noisy but that's acceptable. With the prices being as high as they are I wouldn't be dining there too often but definitely would go back.
I've been to Saltlik a couple of other times and really liked it. I had a friend in town who I wanted to impress - it was really lovely and yes, my friend was impressed.
