I have been to the Stephen Avenue Saltlik several times, for different occasions, and have always enjoyed the experience. The service has always been excellent and the atmosphere is lively but the noise level never imposing. On this occasion had the Filet, and it was arguably one of the best steaks I have ever had in my life. Others at the table ordered it as well and expressed the same. A great place for many different occasions - we will be back soon!
Great menu, not too big, fantastic steaks. Great service, happy people work here and genuinely want you to enjoy! Daily Happy Hour in the bar/lounge is quite a deal -:) Will definitely be back next time I'm in Calgary!

The food took insanely long for what it was. Had to take it to go... great place if you have a few hours to spare
My husband and I came to the Saltlik for dinner to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were greeted with a glass of champagne each. The waitress also gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and happy hour prices on their drink menu for the entire evening. The food was amazing and we had a very memorable experience because of the friendly professional staff!!
Amazing food. Really enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding. It was wonderful.
Overall restaurant was good no complaints about the staff or service. Wish city of Calgary police would help the restaurants on the strip out and do a better job of clearing out the beggers and high people on the street so people can enjoy the restaurant patio with out being harassed every two seconds.
Experience was fine. Service was not very attentive, yet restaurant not that busy. Food was fine, but everything seemed heavily salted. For a mid-range steak dinner, I will likely choose elsewhere unless someone else wanted to come here.
