For a steak house in the downtown core I was expecting a little more. The steak was fine but I have cooked just as good at home. Presentation was pretty plain, the fries were pretty dry and flavorless and there were no buns or bread or anything to start us off. The service was very friendly and took good care of us. I did find it interesting that we came in before 12:00 and when we left before 1:00 it was no where near full. That may be an indication that people have tried them and weren't all that impressed.
Saltlik is an all time favorite of mine and my husband. The service is always excellent. The food is delicious and if a steak does not come out to your liking they are always ready and willing to correct it.
I enjoyed a very pleasant dining experience. I would have expected, from such a nice looking restaurant, for the menu to be a bit more adventurous, but the quality of the food was excellent. The wine was good too and chilled to perfection.
The food is always fresh and excellent. Never disappointed, a lovely spot for a business lunch or for a larger group in the evening.
Good service but I found the filet I ordered to be just OK. I ordered medium and got medium rare and for the price, they really should offer more options for sides. A vegetable along with the starch would be nice to have - it does not even seem to be available a la carte. I won't rush back.

A tad pricey for a fairly average dining experience. Waiter was very nice but service was so so. He was prob. Very busy. Out of all our dishes, no one was particularly blown away. One in our party couldnt finish her dish - it had an overpowering, farmy tasting cheese in it. Just not her favorite taste I guess.
Great lime margueritas on the rocks! Perfect on a hot day before the Rodeo.
Excellent food and service. It is a must visit when in Calgary!!
