My husband and I took our two sons, 14 & 17, for dinner and it was lovely. I really appreciated our waiter's knowledge of steak. He taught me about why certain parts of the cow are cooked different ways. This led to me trying something new (for me) - filet mignon done rare - and it was wonderful! Thanks, Ben!
Food was okay at best. Ordered a steak medium rare, it wasn't even cooked in the middle. Service from the front end was great, our server was pretty good, but the food was totally unforgettable. I will not be going back.
Loved the selection of the menu. This was the 5th time I have been to Saltlik and it was enjoyable as always. We had delicious wine, cocktails, steak and prawns and lastly dessert. It was fabulous. Our server Elizabeth was very friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to coming back again.
Amazing restaurant! My husband and I went to Saltlik for our anniversary. The food was fantastic, and the staff went way above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect evening!
We asked for lemonade and it came too sweet; the girl who attended us was very kind and change them quickly but they came as sweet as before. We change our mind and we asked for something else to drink but she had asked already for lemonade with less sugar. The third attempt was very good. We had a great lunch.
Appropriate for business lunch.
Good food BUT the mains came out way too early -- we weren't even half done our appetizers when they appeared. However, the restaurant did buy us dessert to make up for the timing problem. The toffee cake is great!
The service was very polite and attentive. This kitchen was a bit overwhelmed and therefore slow. But our server was apologetic and offered us complementary soup or salad. Our sirloin steaks were cooked as we asked and were very tasty. We didn't realize that vegetables would not automatically come with the meal: just steak and potato were served. It would have been useful if the server had mentioned that and pointed out on the menu the vegetable options which were available.
Great food--great service---all of us were very pleased!!
