Multiple employees asked if I needed help and when I found what I wanted to purchase they made sure someone from that section of the store came by to give me a recommendation. I bought a turntable and they called over another employee that worked there to recommend where I could find some vinyls. Great experience, service, stock, and atmosphere.
I must say that my first experience with SamAsh, approx. 1.5 yrs ago, was poor. I purchased a Washburn Dreadnought, Acoustic/Electric and was treated as if I didn't belong there. The staff is really rude and cocky my 8yr old is wanting to learn to play guitar so I'm looking for an electric guitar something he can begin with I was told one thing on the phone when I walked in 15 mins later told another thing completely different and when I asked why I was told something different the person I told didn't " understand the nature " of what I was saying to him... If you're going to host daily jam sessions, could you at least have a practice room for someone that's seriously trying out an instrument to be able to hear themselves? I walked out last night disappointed that I couldn't make an educated purchase, and wasn't going to buy something without being able to spend some quality time going over the instrument.

A friend of mine visited the store on Lee Road and had a very bad experience there. No one bothered greeting him or offerred him any assistance. He was ready to buy some high-end equipment.
