The facility is new, clean, well managed, and the food is outstanding. The staff are personable and caring. They engage with the residents to keep them informed and involved in activities. We highly recommend Seagrass Village and are so happy that we moved our mom here. My mom tells me every day about what she had for lunch and how much she enjoyed it. Overall, my experience has been positive. The primary staff is really friendly in getting you admitted but you don't hear much from them once you are admitted. The rest of the staff frequently interacts with the staff like the physical therapist and activity director. There has been problems with securing a chef, so the menu has suffered, but now they have a good chef and the food is good. The people in the community are friendly. The housekeeping crew is great and it is so helpful to have your apartment cleaned once a week.... read more
The management at Seagrass Village Daphne is outstanding. The maintenance department deserves a huge pat on the back, they are very responsive.
All 5 stars! Minus food, I prepare my own meal in my villa. They are very sweet, kind and helpful with what ever you may need. Great activities director, very upbeat personality. I am very happy and quite content here at Seagrass Village Daphne. My villa has plenty of space in it.
The villas at Seagrass Village Daphne are really nice and the support people are outstanding. I'm sure things will be even better once the facility is fully functional. Such as the cafeteria, the rehab area and pool.
They have not completed building yet and I am in a Villa so I prepare my own food. I am quite satisfied with everything so far. They are very helpful, fun to talk to and very kind and courteous. Their Bubbly personalities are what sold me. You better believe I would recommend Seagrass Village Daphne to anybody, anytime!
The assisted living section of Seagrass in Daphne was very good - the staff was very responsive, and the other residents were friendly - my mom seemed to adjust fairly quickly, and she was rather picky. On the other hand, Alabama has some very annoying rules about who can and can't be in assisted living. After a few months there, my mom was diagnosed with a minor swallowing issue, and was immediately given a 45 day eviction notice. My mom ended up in the hospital the very first week she was there because I didn't have her medication correct. And then my mom informed me yesterday that they don't turn the grill on for them to have meals at night.

Seagrass Village Gulf Shores, is not as nice as presented. Management is seriously lacking in decision making, and consistently uses "well no one else has had that problem" HA, that's almost funny. The food is not chef inspired, and a lot of times is barely edible. Employees turnover is a serious issue as well as allowing certain residents do what they want to do, even though it's not fair to all residents. Just beware, it's not as nice as advertised
