I would not recommend this office because of the billing department and poor communication. We scheduled our daughter’s 4-year wellness visit months in advance as a preventive wellness check. After the visit and follow-up, we were billed $602.49, and I still have not received a clear explanation for why a scheduled wellness visit was billed/processed in a way that left us with significant deductible charges instead of being covered by insurance. We loved Dr. Rubenstein. She was amazing with both of our children and she helped us through a very scary time when my daughter was born. We are forever grateful for her. Unfortunately, the care stops there. The office is not managed well. At one point our card on file was charged for another patient with a similar name when we checked in around the same time. Serenity Pediatrics cares more about money than children We started going to Serenity five years ago with our son and were told we’d be grandfathered in when their vaccine policy changed. That turned out to be a lie. They dropped both our 5-year-old and our new baby, leaving us scrambling to find a new pediatrician. Would not recommend. Repeatedly tried to put my son on an antibiotic for an ear infection that he previously had a severe systemic reaction to. This was noted and should have been well known by the provider. He also very clearly had some gut issues due to the antibiotic use for ear infections and they disregarded. They just said that it should pass in time. Wanted to share my past bad experiences with this office. My child with food allergies repeatedly heard the doctor talk about being slightly underweight, which created a complex. She still struggles with this mental complex, years later, created by her physician. The worst part is that the doctor’s solution was to tell my child to eat plenty of dairy products, nice thing to tell someone who is ALLERGIC to it. Super disappointed in their updated vax policy. They had some excellent doctors, nurses and front staff. We’ll take our kiddos somewhere else.
Non inclusive practice, more concerned about image rather than health of the whole child. Mocked by doctors for inquiring or have a difference of opinion. Quick staff turnover, do not recommend.
