Sad day on Sunday. Had to put my 14 year old friend/miniature schnauzer to sleep. Hoagy was an 8 week old puppy when he came to live with me. He's been a special friend all this time. Thanks to Jill, Lexi, Maddy, and Emma for being with Hoagy and me during that last hour. And thanks to Seven Oaks Vet. Clinic for being there. The vet was compassionate and good about explaining everything that would happen to Hoagy in the process of putting him down - and she took special care to explain things so the girls would understand.
