I think Shawn was an awesome Loan Officer and what really stood out to me was his willingness to work with me and my situation and continually give advice on how we can get the loan done quicker and easier. I had heard horror stories about dealing with banks when it came to mortgage loans but Shawn made the experience a lot more easy-going with constant communication. Overall, I am very satisfied with working with VanDyk Mortgage and am grateful for their efforts in helping me get my first home!

I was not an easy client. He helped me get my credit score to where we needed it to be. My paperwork and documents were a challenge to figure out. It included a gift, a shared account, changes in income and more. Shawn then worked with my numbers to get me the house that I fell in love with. At every stumbling block, I asked him, "but what if...." and he would find a way! He made it all seem so simple and easy to reach my dream. Thank you Shawn for all the work you put in!
