RecommendedI have lived 10 miles south of Harrisburg IL for 10 years without internet service except for an iPad hotspot that I used for my OTA TiVo. Shawnee Communications put fiber optic cable by my house recently and I immediately signed up. They were great to work with and I have had WIFI for a few weeks now and I love it. I can’t speak to the reliability yet, but I have checked the speed and it is 100 times as fast as before. I recommend Shawnee Communications !!

Very friendly and professional staff from the first phone call to the installation of the fiber. There were a lot of steps to get it and was interesting to watch. I’m impressed with the speed.

Great service from the moment I inquired about bringing Fiber to my area. They were very quick to get everything set up and the installer that came to the house to hook up the service was awesome and very knowledgeable!!! I highly recommend Shawnee Communications if it is available in your area!
