as a patient i came in from a very small town in nc kept having rehabilitation then relapse in and out staff at ability lab was very professional and had a fix for all my problems i am so happy i came here i just wish i had not waited so long lol i strongly recomend attending ability lab top notch professionalism stuart moon

My husband was diagnosed of Parkinsons disease 2 years ago, when he was 49. He had a stooped posture, tremors, right arm does not move and also a pulsating feeling in his body. This place is incredible. After trying a number of other rehab centers for 5+ months that only made my pain worse, I finally ended up at Shirley and cannot say enough amazing things. Everyone I worked with went out of their way to give extremely tailored, personalized care - which was even more important to me given that I was never able to get a diagnosis as to what was causing the pain that made me barely able to walk. My first ALS symptom occurred in 2016, but was diagnosed in 2018. I had severe symptoms ranging from shortness of breath, balance problems, couldn't walk without a walker or a power chair, i had difficulty swallowing and fatigue. Shirley Ryan has always had a reputation of a world class healthcare organization and I was proud to have them in my community. Shirley Ryan is somewhere you never want to have to use, however I have recently had significant life threatening health issues that have required me to do so.
