RecommendedI had my stroke May 8th, May 11th I was officially a patient at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab for 3 weeks. I stayed there and therapy was intense but I have to say it was awesome. The people that work there, like Maggie by Michelle Brian Emily and the others, are always upbeat, positive, encouraging, and just all around awesome. After my 3 weeks there as an inpatient, I went to Day Rehab where my lead PT Wyczech (sp) was tough but great as was the other PT and OT. afyer that i went to outpatient PT. thats where it went downhi... read more
Very comprehensive rehabilitation program
I tell people how it help me to be able to get out again.
My father was a patient on Floor 11 post his liver transplant in 2018. I cannot begin to say enough words about the team on that floor. Everyone took such good care of him and his progress was beyond belief. Although he was happy to come home he was also sad to say goodbye. The whole team was amazing, but Casey (sp?) stood out from day one with her care for my Dad and all of us. I highly recommend this facility.
The therapist was great! We worked together every minute of the appointment. The facility is clean. Parking is simple

Amanda Winters (my PT) was professional, kind, and goal driven. She made my recovery, growth, and improvement possible. The facility itself is clean, beautiful, and easy to guide. Overall, my experience was the best it could have been. I would recommend Shirley Ryan Ability Lab to anyone needing physical therapy.
