It all began in 1993, when two local boys in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. The idea was to create a restaurant where people would feel welcome to be themselves, families could afford to dine out together and strangers would leave as friends. We really enjoyed our dinner at the Shrimp Basket tonight! We came after Ash Wednesday Service, and my husband really enjoyed the All You Can Eat Catfish! I had the grilled shrimp! Our server was the amazing Keisha! She has waited on us before and she’s always attentive and if she’s tied up in the kitchen she always sends over someone to help until she’s able to get back to us! We appreciated the attention!
Great food and friendly people. Great job Charity, you are so kind, you Cajun gal! Had blackened flounder and shrimp and added 4 fried oysters. We shared the meal for lunch and was just right for 2. 😀

Wow! The food was scrumptious! We think the best on the coast. And the staff was warm and super friendly. Make sure you finish with Funnel Fries for desert!
