It all began in 1993, when two local boys in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. The idea was to create a restaurant where people would feel welcome to be themselves, families could afford to dine out together and strangers would leave as friends. Coastal vacationers demanded that Shrimp Basket expand to provide this incredible seafood value to those unable to be at the beach year round. Today, we’re happy to offer locations across the Southeast for family... read more

My fish was raw in the middle so cooking would be a good start
Have been coming here for over a year for the all you can eat if several kind of shrimp, and all you can eat if the different sides. Was confirmed today that they aren't doing unlimited but one side and one type of shrimp. Love our waitresses and the different shrimps, but your corporate bullshit messing with something that people like is why people go to McDonald's, because they get what they want there for and they don't have to argue about it with a manager because of a stupid change. Might be back but won't be telling an... read more
The first time we ate at the cullman location was a couple of weeks after they opened. The food was terrible. Not what I expected from a shrimp basket. we have dined at many of them. My intention was to never eat at the Cullman location again. Well, today was my daughter's 32nd birthday 4/30/21. She chose Shrimp Basket in Cullman. Even after I tried to discourage her. So tonight Myself my wife my daughter her husband and 3 grandchildren piled into the shrimp basket Cullman location. I have to rave about the quality and taste... read more
Awful service. Sat there for over an hour and all the tables around us had food within 20-30 mins AFTER coming in later than us. Couldn’t even speak to a manager after our waitress was no help. Couldn’t even get one on the phone!
ok, I'm a fan of the shrimp basket. The host refused to let us enter without a mask. That wouldn't have been such a big deal, literally no esle with the exception of him had one on. I just want to say "thank you" the host, we found a great Mexican restaurant down the street "Buenavista" awesome food, great service. Again Thank You Shrimp Basket.
I came in yesterday and had the catfish po' boy with slaw and fries. I got home after eating it and not even an hour later I was throwing up and had violent diarrhea. I have been sick ever since right after I ate there and I will never go back.
this is the second time I have tried the place in the past month and both times the food was very greasy and the grease taste like it had not been changed in a long time . both times I ended up throwing away some of my food and could not finish it and it made me sick and have to go to the bathroom immediately after eating it. one of the times that I tried it I had a friend who ate there the same day and he said he also got sick from eating there so I do not recommend eating here unless you just want to get sick.
i was just refused service because i didn't have a mask, there was literally nobody else eating inside yet the very low IQ workers can't understand science.I can't eat in mask and to think i pose a risk just to walk 10 feet to table yet no threat while I'm sitting there eating is laughable. I will never be back.
they can make their po boy sandwiches the right way and not sell daiquiris with zero alcohol in it for $7
