It all began in 1993, when two local boys in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. The idea was to create a restaurant where people would feel welcome to be themselves, families could afford to dine out together and strangers would leave as friends. Waited 45 minutes to get appetizer... ordered crab claws and 80% were burnt. The server was very nice but I will not be back to the Cullman location.
I got the whitefish basket and there was hardly any fish in it. There were 4 tiny pieces in the basket. I have been to nearly every Shrimp Basket and this is the least food I have ever gotten. And on top of this prices have gone up to $11.50 for less food. I will not go back to the one in Cullman and if they are all this stingy with their food I will not go back to any of them again. Very disappointed!!!
First time there. We both had a cocktail. (bloody Mary and swamp water,) both were great. I had the blackened Redfish with some kind of sauce. that was good but heavy on the cayenne. my friend had Oysters Rockefeller. They were raw. Cold. Sent them back once. They came back out 10 minutes later. Still raw, still cold. The manager apologized several times and said he's going to speak with the kitchen on how they should be cooked. He was apologetic. Makes me sick to see someone preparing my food and eating and licking their fingers while doing so. Service was horrible as well.
My son and I went Tuesday 5/21/2019 about 5:00 we waited maybe 20 minutes to be seated which I thought it wasn’t that bad. We ordered waited about 30 minutes for our food. You would think it would be hot or at least warm. It was like room temperature the only thing close to warm was the corn nugget. I had the popcorn shrimp basket the slaw was even room temperature. In my opinion it wasn’t worth the wait.
amazing food but staff acted like they had no clue what was going on. had people lined up out the door because they said they couldn’t seat people at empty tables because of being understaffed but had 13 waitresses walking around and 4 just standing at the host stand not doing anything. paid $45 and was told i couldn’t have a to go box because i ordered a all you can eat and they don’t allow you to take your leftovers home
Horrible dining experience. Only waited about ten minutes to be seated but then almost 45 minutes for food and the order was incorrect. My daughter will not eat shrimp and her chicken was omitted. Drinks were wrong, waitress could not remember anything. Almost two hours before we finally got paid and out the door. They gave free dessert as a comp and even that was wrong and did not come timely.
Had to sit our self. Sit there while everyone looking at you. Had to ask for a menu. The waiter was not good. Didn’t ask if we needed a refill. Food was no good. Then had to ask for check. I will not be back. Waisted time and money. Bad time. At least the waiter could of smiled.
After my crab legs being served to me frozen twice on Sunday, May 5th; we were put on the “guest list” and they would give me a crab-claw dinner. I informed her that I didn’t order crab claws because I can’t have the breading. She said they would make it right.
