A fantastic meal with great service - only thing I would challenge was the price of some dishes. £29 for turkey was a little expensive
We had a wonderful meal with great service. Our only comment would be it was very noisy, as there were several tables of young men having a good time. So, not the restaurants fault. I am not sure how they would overcome this. We had a lovely time anyway.
My wife and I attended for our wedding anniversary and it was everything we expected and more. All the staff, including the doorman to open the entrance door for you, are very attentive. They are all very professional, very smartly dressed in uniform and very good at their jobs. Just fabulous! S&W never disappoints but I found this lovation particularly enjoyable- service was fantastic and the ambiance/mood was delightful. Very festive with the holidays approaching. USDA filet and 1/2 lobster with all the sides - absolutely perfect.

Great food and terrific service, but no attempt to absorb the sound levels, which in some cases can be extraordinarily loud. I loved my dinner but our conversation was incredibly difficult to keep up. A little muffling would go an extremely long way toward making this place the ONLY must dine restaurant near the Strand.
Nice meal overall. Expensive but the quality was appropriate for the price. The only surprise was we were asked to give up our table as soon as we were finished and paid. I can’t recall ever having ever having been told to leave my table immediately after finishing. They did offer us a free drink at the bar as compensation, we passed and went next door to the Savoy instead.
