Had a great evening been meaning to use the restaurant as used Smith and Wollensky in the US, but Covid had put a stop to it. The wait was worth it.
High quality of food, made to perfection. Wish for more interesting choice in deserts but not a big deal. Exceptional professional and amazingly nice service we got. They did more than above waiting for us arriving 30 minutes late after West End show...
The food and service were very good, as usual. On the day we went however, the loud voices on other tables were distracting. It's nice to see this restaurant doing well again but we would prefer to revisit on a quieter day.
Staff and food was amazing, the Mac and cheese was particularly amazing! Atmosphere and music was lovely and the over all presentation of the restaurant was great!
4 of us went for a pre theatre meal and the service was very good so we managed to get to the play in good time. We ordered from the set menu which was good value for London and the steaks were cooked to our requests.
My main gripe would be the length of time it took for us to be served with our meal. We were given an apology and told our meals would be with us shortly. My two guests were happy with their meal choices but unfortunately I ordered the salad and all I received was a plate of lettuce with a few pieces of chicken and shavings of cheese. I was very disappointed! Otherwise all three enjoyed our time at S & W and would dine there again,
Six of us plus toddler and baby had Saturday lunch here. The staff were brilliant, great with the children, efficient and informative. The food is excellent, the burger one of the best I have had and the Steak Sandwich was spicy and thoroughly enjoyed. The steaks were perfectly cooked to our requirements and the sauces were great. We tried the fries, salads and macaroni cheese side dishes, all good but the Mac didn't seem to have much cheese! Great food, lovely restaurant, polite and helpful staff, couldn’t fault the facilities one bit! Slight over sight on our bill which was as much our fault as the staffs, we failed to check our bill before paying, but once we raised the error a manager quickly attended and put it right, and gave us a free drink! Superb service! Would definitely eat there again!
Once again, tasty food, fantastic service in a gorgeous setting. This is becoming our go to place for brunch as we cannot find fault. Highly recommend.
