When you want a nice steak dinner to finish off a day of shopping and walking around London, we always like Smith & Wollensky. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient and they never mind if we turn up a bit early. They do a lovely bellini. The Covid protocols and cleaning were evident and the tables in the dining room were plenty far apart. We really enjoy the USDA steaks which are full of flavor and have that lovely melt in the mouth texture. The asparagus side dish was really nice.
We had a great meal from start to finish. I especially enjoyed the split pea soup for starter followed by a USDA fillet steak with Mac n cheese. Our entire group all enjoyed everything we had. Definitely not our last visit.

We had a brilliant time here. The steaks were perfect, and the portions are worth the cost. The service was impeccable, the cocktails and wines were amazing, and desserts are to die for. By far the best cheesecake I’ve ever had.
Restaurant is beautiful, the service is outstanding. The food is nice but not worth the price tag when compared to Hawksmoor and Goodman.
Perfect lunch from the set price menu. Best burger in London. Excellent service and ambience. Best of all, table was ours for over two hours.
Sommelier recommended what sounded like average wines to go with our seafood platter and steaks, they were pleasant but staggeringly expensive when out £450 bill for two arrived!! Moral of that story is: look at the wine list!! But the restaurant is fab, a real treat but for me the price renders it for special occasions only like celebration of winning the lottery jackpot!!!!
Everything was perfect!
We had a wonderful evening. The service was really excellent, friendly and efficient. We had cocktails before the meal & all 4 of us agreed they were really good. The food is primarily beef and although very pricy, the quality was outstanding. The wine list is very extensive with plenty of reasonably priced wines (and some outrageously expensive). My only quibble: be good to have a cheese option at the dessert stage
