Smith and Wollensky is a gorgeous, glamorous restaurant, I felt like I was in 1920s new york! The food is delicious, the pre-theatre / set menu is very good value, as is their steak and bottomless chips + cocktail deal (not sure how long that's on for). The service was lovely, if a little bit slow... we had to remind them of several things we'd asked for (drinks mostly but also condiments!) but overall for the set menu and ambience it is great!
Fantastic food served by fantastic staff in a fantastic restaurant
It's a great place with impeccable service with the refined but unpretentious style of Gatsby. The cocktails are worth a visit to the bar if all you want is a drink or two. The food is very good quality and I am a frequent diner here. I'd recommend the wild mushroom & truffle side to the steak -it's worth the extra money.
Best steak ever and great service with great ambience
I "was" a Hawksmore regular but since Saturday its S S&W made it truly memorable.
